Our mission is to not only help you enhance your style but to also share our styling tips and strategies that we believe will ultimately lead to you be the expert. We’ll help you stay current by offering weekly styled outfits for you to shop as well as celebrity looks we know and love. As the world of style and fashion evolve into more than just clothing, and now surround our lifestyle, don’t be surprised if we share updates on art, music, food, and travel.
The inspiration for Style Strada’s shopping platform which offers complete head to toe ensembles based on occasions or events you plan to attend, stems from our history as professional merchandisers. Throughout our retail career, we continually observed how women would shop and buy entire looks from the editorial spreads we styled. Additionally, customer and clients always referred to their wardrobe needs based on what they needed it for; we’d hear “I need some tops for work” or “I need casual outfits for the weekend”. We decided to create weekly styled outfits within the most popular categories we knew women were looking for: work, weekend, daytime occasions, date night, formal attire, guest of a wedding, and evening celebrations.
We’ve dressed hundreds of women both directly as stylists and indirectly as retail buyers. Our extensive work in the retail industry with clothing, accessories, and lingerie gives us an in-depth understanding of the types of fit each designer/label possesses. This experience allows us to better wardrobe our clients with the perfect fit, silhouette, and style. We regularly attend trade shows giving us insight into the most current trends and new designers that we will share with you either through our services and our website.
When clients need help with their overall style that includes hair and makeup, we work with our talented hair and makeup stylist who’s track record includes Bravo’s Shear Genius reality show, Chicago’s local Ambush Makeover as well as several high-fashion events including Chicago Fashion Week and New York Fashion Week. Her work has also been featured in Behind the Chair and 303 Magazine.
